MERRITTVILLE: SMS MACHINE TO PRESENT FIRST DEMO DERBY AT MERRITTVILLE: ALL SCOUTS IN UNIFORM FREE

THOROLD, ONTARIO … Race Fans can look forward to a Big night of DIRT-sanctioned excitement at Merrittville Speedway as SMS Machine presents the season’s first Demolition Derby Saturday May 14th.

All Scouts in Uniform will receive free grandstand admission for the action-packed night when the Grandstands open at 5:00 PM. Showtime is at 7:00.

Four of the fan favorite no holds barred Demolition Derbies are part of the 2005 Schedule – the first of which is for Small Cars. The Demolition Derby will close out the DIRT Weekly Racing Series action that only the L. St. Amand Enterprises 358 Modifieds, Original Pizza Logs Sportsmen, Seneca Niagara Casino Dwarf Cars, Hoosier Stocks and 4 Cylinders can provide on the Thorold track’s tricky d-shaped clay oval.

Another Small Car Demolition Derby closes out the Hingaton Metal Fabricators Night on Saturday August 6th while two Big Car Derbies are set for July 2nd and September 11th when Toolneeds and J&S Heating are sponsors respectively.

July 2nd’s Derby will have Meridian Credit Union Kid’s Club Members paint and decorate a car while the final derby is set for a Sunday date in conjunction with the season ending Wine Country Run Enduro presented by Konzelmann Estates Winery.
