SAUBLE BEACH, ON - Shouldice ALSTAR Series Promoter Joe Chisholm called to say he is "EXIDEd" (groan!) to announce that Exide Batteries has returned as an ALSTAR Series sponsor for 2005.
Each ALSTAR competitor will receive an Exide 'Orbital' Battery. The acidless units are the same ones used in Nextel Cup competition. Additionally, Exide will be a participating sponsor in the live radio broadcasts and will continue to have a billboard at Sauble Speedway; the hometrack of the ALSTAR tour.
