TSN and Intel Team-Up to Bring the Montreal Grand Prix to Living Rooms Around the World

TORONTO, Ontario, June 20, 2006 – Grand Prix racing fans have reason to rev up their engines. TSN and Intel Corporation today announced that TSN will be given exclusive access to the Intel-sponsored BMW Sauber F1 Team during the Montreal Grand Prix, June 23-25, 2006.

”Fans will be able to enjoy additional coverage and video clips with Jacques Villeneuve as well as track-side coverage of the race,” said Doug Cooper, Country Manager, Intel of Canada. “Working with TSN has enabled us to deliver an incredibly immersive Grand Prix experience, even the most hard-core racing fans will feel like they’re experiencing the action first-hand.”

Montreal Grand Prix content, provided exclusively by TSN, will be available at www.revupmontreal.ca and will include up-to-the-minute race news as well as an insider blog from Gerald Donaldson, a veteran journalist to the Formula One circuit and author of the biography of Canadian F1 driver, Gilles Villeneuve. Visitors will also have access to extensive race coverage along with little-known facts about the BMW Sauber F1 Team, the track and the cars such as:

- The exhaust from a Formula One race car reaches a temperature of up to 950º Celsius
- Air temperature in the pneumatic system rises to 250° Celsius
- The average temperature in the cockpit is 50° Celsius
- Brake discs and pads reach temperatures in excess of 1,000° Celsius when breaking
- Formula One tires may heat up to 130° Celsius


Intel and TSN will be providing additional premium Grand Prix content via www.revupmontreal.ca available only to Intel Viivâ technology-based PCs.
