BROOKLYN, Mich. (June 9, 2006) - As the 2006 season opens, Michigan International Speedway looks forward to hosting races in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, and the ARCA RE/MAX Series.
The 3M Performance 400 presented by Post-Itâ Picture Paper is on June 18, and it will be the 15th stop on the 36-race schedule of the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series. The Con-way Freight 200, on June 17, will be the 10th stop on the 25-race schedule of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The Hantz Group 200 takes place on June 16, and it will be the 8th stop on the 23-race schedule of the ARCA RE/MAX Series.
