Montreal Busch Series race slated for the end of July in 2007

TSN is quoting the Winston Salem Journal in saying:

NASCAR's return to Canada after more than 40 years will apparently take place next July in Montreal.
While series officials have yet to make an official announcement, the Winston-Salem Journal quotes sources who say a deal is in place to stage a Busch Series race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve the weekend of July 28-29.
That is expected to be an off-weekend for the Nextel Cup series, which would ensure that a number of Cup regulars such as Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Jr. would be able to make it up to Canada to take part in the race.

As I just discussed with one CASCAR driver, the supposedly impending announcement regarding the Busch Series coming to Canada will hopefully be enough to tip the balance for NASCAR to move ahead in buying CASCAR, thereby ending its two year due diligence process.
