May 17, 2006. Brad Graham and the Challenger Motor Freight/Logel’s Auto Parts Charger Dodge team have been working tirelessly to prepare their car for the start of the 2006 CASCAR Super Series racing season. The first event of the year takes place this weekend at Barrie Speedway and the team is ready to take the next step to success.

Last year was a break through season for the Challenger Motor Freight/Logel’s Auto Parts Charger Dodge team with podium finishes and claiming fifth in the overall CASCAR Super Series Championship. “With the switch to the Dodge Charger last season it took us a couple of races to really hit our stride” said driver Brad Graham. “But once we found the sweet spot our team was as good as any the rest of the way. Our equipment is solid, our pit crew terrific and we gave ourselves the chance to be successful at every event, and that’s how we want to start this season.”

Race number one of the 2006 season is at Barrie Speedway, a track that Graham and the Challenger Motor Freight/Logel’s Auto Parts Charger Dodge team had success at last year with a top ten finish. “If we can stay out of trouble early on, then we’ll have a chance to go at the end. 250 laps is a long race, especially at this track because it’s so tight, we have to focus on being in the right position for the final 50 laps or so.”

Racing action for the 2006 CASCAR Super Series opens up on Saturday afternoon at Barrie Speedway with time trials and fifty lap heat races. Sunday is the 250 lap main event. More information is available at www.barriespeedway.com . Of course you can follow Brad Graham and the Challenger Motor Freight/Logel’s Auto Parts Charger Dodge team seeing all the races on Rogers Sportsnet.

The CASCAR Super Series is Canada’s only sanctioned National touring stock car racing series competing from coast to coast. CASCAR stages events at the most famous oval tracks in Canada and will also compete at the Grand Prix of Edmonton and the Grand Prix of Trois Rivieres. You can see the Challenger Motor Freight Recruitment Coaches at most CASCAR Super Series events.”
