Good news for fans of Canadian racing. Although they don't want to make a public announcement at this point, I met two gentlemen today who identified themselves as the new owners of Cayuga Speedway. The deal closed yesterday.
The pair made the rounds of the pits at Barrie Speedway following the CASCAR race, and were accompanied by members of the motorsports marketing team associated with the project.
I join everyone in the racing community in wishing them all the best of luck in their efforts to restore Cayuga Speedway to its former glory and more. And I look forward to interviewing them for the magazine shortly.
