A1GP Unveils Provisional Calendar for 2006/07 Season

MONTREAL, QC – The provisional calendar for the second season of the A1 Grand Prix of Nations was announced July 5 with a schedule consisting of 13 races starting in October 2006 and running through to April 2007.

The sophomore season of ‘The World Cup of Motorsport’ will once again see A1 Team Canada compete against 24 nations with the team looking to build on its 10th place finish in the Nations Standings which included a victory in Indonesia courtesy of Vancouver’s Sean McIntosh. A1 Team France won the inaugural A1GP title.

All races proposed on the 2006/07 season A1GP race calendar above are subject to FIA World Council approval and the successful completion of commercial agreements between the circuit management and A1 Grand Prix.
