Big Week Ahead for RZ Racing

Courtesy Jason White

The RZ RACING team has been working hard since the last Flo-pro.com CASCAR western series race. With the preparation of an oval car for Sun Valley Speedways "CASCAR 300" on July 16th, and a road course car for the " GRIDDLY HEADZ 100" in Edmonton on July 22. The Road course car has posed a bit of a challenge to the team as it has never run a road course before.

The "CASCAR 300" in Vernon has Jason White anxious to see how he can stand up to the big budget teams from back East as well as his full time competitors from the western series. "I am really looking forward to getting back to the track and seeing what our "Zimmer Wheaton GMC" Monte Carlo can do this weekend, we faired well last year in the national events by finishing both of them , now our focus is to be in the top ten at the end of the 300" says white. This is a task that he knows will take alot of hard work and a little luck as well, "I know I have the team to get me in and out of the pits swiftly, and I am confident with our "AMS" horsepower, we just need to keep working on our set-up and we will be a strong car".

Jason's father Marty will be sporting a new Mccoll Monte Carlo this weekend with a new number #55. He tested the car last week at Delaware speedway in London Ontario, and has been on cloud nine ever since, " This new car is a Rocketship", says Marty." It sticks to the track very well and comes off the corner like a bullet". Marty will be looking to finish his first race in Cascar as he had mechanical problems in his first two outings in the "Powder Ventures" Monte Carlo.
