Motor shows are all about world debuts, and
Volvo will providing just such an event for the Paris show with the unveiling of its
C30 small hatch.
The Swedish firm is keen to play with the big boys from Audi, BMW and Mercedes, so has chosen to call the
C30 a sports coupe, because it has an all-glass rear hatch.
Volvo's chief executive Fredrik Arp also mentioned the 'lifestyle' word when describing the
C30's potential customers, so we can assume these are the same people we see driving into work on deserted motorways before heading to the beach.
If you're such an individual with a lifestyle,
Volvo will announce prices for the
C30 at the end of September before the car goes on sale in December.
