You don't need to be fluent in Rolf Harris to guess what this is yet. It's the Peugeot 207 CC.
However,
Peugeot is spinning it out by calling this white-on-white machine the
207 Epure concept.
It's all set to strut its stuff at the Paris motor show and is finished in pearl white with a white leather interior, although there are some touches of 'absinthe green' in the carpets, door panels and headrests. (Doesn't absinthe make you go blind and hallucinate?)
Perhaps this is
Peugeot's plan to dupe us into thinking the Epure is a concept rather than a dolled-up version of a car we will very soon be able to buy.
What we won't see in the
207 CC is the Epure's powerplant, which is an experimental hydrogen fuel cell designed in partnership with the French Atomic Energy Commission.
With 70kW of power, the fuel cell is said to be able to power the Epure from 0-62mph in 15 seconds, up to 81mph, and gives a range of up to 218 miles.
The
207 CC is expected to go on sale in the UK in June 2007.
