HALIFAX, NS (2005 June 8) - You could WIN special Budweiser Racing prizes and tickets to Monster Jam this Friday night at Scotia Speedworld. It's Budweiser Race Night and we will have Dale Earnhardt, Jr. look-alike and Best Dressed Bud fan contests along with a full slate of Budweiser Weekly Racing action.
All five Budweiser Weekly Racing divisions will be on hand for round two of their 2005 championship chase, including the C&R Auto Supply Sportsman, Nova Automotive Hobby Stock, RV Contacts Legends and Miller Tire BFGoodrich Thunder & Lightning divisions. Last week, the first meet of the season, saw a whopping 79 racecars on hand. Each division will see qualifying heats and a feature race.
Fans are invited to enter two different Budweiser Racing contests on Friday night, both linked to the Budweiser campaign on the NASCAR Nextel Cup circuit and driver of the No. 8 Budweiser Chevrolet, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Come dressed as a Dale Earnhardt, Jr. look-alike or Best Dressed Bud fan (wear all the Budweiser racing garb you own) and you could WIN great collectible prizes from Budweiser.
Lucky fans will also have the chance to WIN tickets to next weekends Monster Jam show at Scotia Speedworld.
The pit area opens Friday night at 4:30 pm with practice for the racers starting at 5:15. The grandstand opens at 5:30. Kids young and old will have fun with announcer Mike Kaplan in the Pepsi Pre-Race Show at 7 pm. Racing starts at 7:30.
Grandstand Admission is just $12 for adults, $2 for youth aged 8 to 15. Children 7 and under are admitted FREE. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. HST is included in all ticket prices.
