OSCAAR: Heads to 'The Beach' this weekend

The 2005 OSCAAR SEASON HITTING HIGH GEAR WITH THIS WEEKEND’S TRIP THE “BEACH”

With a very successful opening night at Kawartha Speedway, the OSCAAR Outlaws will be returning to some high speed racing action at the short tracks of Ontario. Sauble Speedway is the host of the Outlaws this weekend as racing action is set to get underway at 7:00pm on June 18th. In case mother nature doesn’t cooperate the rain date is set for Sunday June 19th.

John Fletcher will be looking to continue his winning streak in 2005. Picking up a pair of second place finishes in 2004 at the Beach, you can be sure the familiar #61 JNE Consulting Outlaw will be challenging for the win. Rob Clarke in his #49 picked up a feature win at Sauble Speedway in 2004 and will be looking this weekend for his first feature win of the 2005 season.

After an early race accident at Kawartha, Jeff Hanley will be looking to get back into the 2005 points race. One cannot forget to figure in the likes of Pee Wee Evans, Shane McGinnis, Mike Beyore, Drew Spicer, and John Owen. Who will pick up the 2nd feature win of the 2005 season is anyone’s guess.

Fans will want to arrive early to save their favorite seat and sit back and enjoy the best in short track racing, as the Outlaws invade the Beach.
