OSCAAR: FLETCHER WINS THE CNC CUSTOM MACHINING OSCAAR SEASON OPENER AT KAWARTHA!

Fraserville, ON – Beautiful sunny skies, a capacity crowd and a full field of Outlaw Super Late Models made for a successful season opener as the OSCAAR Outlaws took to the track at Kawartha Downs for their first event Friday night. Twenty-eight supers made the tow to Kawartha, as the #61 JNE Consulting team of John Fletcher found himself in Victory Lane at the end of 50 laps.

John and his #61 Outlaw team captured their first win of the season and made a strong, bold start to their quest for the 2005 OSCAAR championship. However, defending Champion Rob Clarke finished a close second. Pee Wee Evans and his #90 team made a great start to the season with a strong third place finish. Rounding out the top five were the #03 of Shane Maginnis and #54 of Michel Beyore.

Twenty-five awesome looking outlaws took the green, and only three cautions flew during the action packed 50-lap feature. An early race caution ended the night for the #70 team of Jeff Hanley; disappointing for the team, as Jeff won both his heats and was looking forward to battling it out with the front runners for a possible feature win.

Other heat wins went to the #15 of Al Shepstone, #61 of John Fletcher and the #90 of Pee Wee Evans.
