Karting: Paul Lapierre joins Cameron Motorsports

HAMILTON, ONTARIO - Paul Lapierre, one of North America's top rated tuners has joined Cameron Motorsports as a full time employee of the growing Hamilton based karting facility.

"I am really excited about this opportunity," said Lapierre. "This is a totally professional operation everything from chassis to support, and some great drivers. The opportunities here are endless, not only for drivers, but tuners as well. From the tuning side, Cameron has everything we need to do our job for our drivers. Having our own on site track that we can test at anytime is going to pay huge dividends this year. One thing is for sure, when we go to the races, we'll be ready."

Lapierre has been on the tuning end of karting for many years, but he really made a name for himself by tuning for Markham's Daniel Morad for the past three seasons. The duo have collected numerous regional and National championships in both Canada and the USA.

"Dan and I work well together, and we will continue to work together in 2005." Lapierre said.

Cameron Motorsports Bob Cameron is happy to have yet another first rate tuner join the Cameron Motorsports team.

"We have everything we need to succeed," Cameron said. "CRG Chassis, a great engine program, the best drivers, and now a full complement of the best tuners around."

Lapierre joins other noted tuners Trevor Wickens, Wrex Roth and Levon Beaudin, as well as a host of front line mechanics, all of which are now part of the Cameron Motorsports family.
