VAUGHAN, ON - CASCAR held its annual Media Day at the new Toronto-area NASCAR Speedpark on Tuesday. There were several highlights, including a strong contingent of CASCAR Super Series drivers in attendance and the unveiling of the new #9 Dodge Charger, which will be driven by veteran driver Mark Dilley.The press conference drew more media than for any CASCAR event in recent history. Reporters and television crews from around Ontario were on hand for the season kick-off. Many attributed the increased media presence to CASCAR's new alliance with NASCAR. Richard Buck, of NASCAR, was on hand and will be at every Super Series race during '05.
CASCAR is set to commence its 12-race Super Series season this weekend at Delaware Speedway, with the annual running of the MOPAR 250.
