PETERBOROUGH, ON - As the first long weekend of the summer has arrived hopefully we can expect warmer and drier weather then we have experienced so far this year! Two action packed nights of racing is scheduled this weekend. Saturday features regular racing for the Mini Stocks, Thunder Cars, and the Limited Late Models all running for extended 30 lap features! Also on hand will be the opening round for the new Lucas Oil Can Am T.Q. Midgets who will open their 2005 season at Canada’s fastest 1/3 mile oval.
On Sunday is round one of the fan favorite Old Smoke House, presented by Cathcart Trucking Enduro series. With close to 100 cars in attendance for a previous Enduro event the action is non-stop! For anyone who has not experienced an Enduro race all of the cars that are in attendance will start the event.
These cars are lower in cost and are a great entry level class for the rookie driver or ideal for experienced competitors who are on a limited budget. For more information on our Enduro series and rules please contact the track at 1-705-743-5880.Race times for both nights is 6:00pm!
