Yee-ha! It's the news we've been waiting for from the US and it's made our weeks with the confirmation that General Motors (GM) is putting the
Chevrolet Camaro into production.
We'll have to wait until the tail end of
2008 before the car rolls out of the factory, but it'll be worth the wait when it's set to have a 6.0-litre V8 motor packing 425bhp.
There will also be a namby-pamby V6, but who cares when you can have a
V8 Camaro that looks this good?
GM's chief executive Rick Wagoner said the
Camaro will be built in the US and hinted that a convertible is also on the cards.
Now we just need to get him to makes sure the
Camaro is sold in the UK.
