TAKE THE HOOSIER TIRE CANADA FINISH LINE CHALLENGE AT MERRITTVILLE

Thorold, Ontario … Merrittville Speedway is posing a question to its Hoosier Stock Drivers – would you like to take the Hoosier Tire Canada Finish Line Challenge?

“ Our Hoosier Stock drivers provide some of the best racing Saturday Nights,” relates Merrittville co-owner Nancy Bicknell, adding, “ the teams have put so much into their cars … it’s something that will surely create some excitement on the track and in the grandstands.”

Starting June 11th, the winners of each DIRT Weekly Racing Series Event Qualifying Heat will have the option of either starting their feature from their handicapped starting slot or take the Hoosier Tire Canada Finish Line Challenge and start last on the field.

If the Challenge participant is successful and wins the feature event after starting last then that driver will receive a bonus that starts at $200.00 and increases by $50 each event until it is won.

At the end of the season, any money that is left in the Challenge ‘account’ will go the winner of a 10 lap Dash for Cash amongst all of the drivers that attempted the challenge all season prior to the 50 lap $1000 to win Hoosier Stock Showdown set for the J & S Heating and Air Conditioning Weekend September 10th.

“We’re real proud to be the title sponsor of the division,” relates Hoosier Tire Canada’s Ron McKay, adding “ we’re real excited about this new program too … maybe the money will be shared between a number of drivers through the rest of the season or maybe it will all go to one at the end.”
