ARCA: Kimmel ready for Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, FLORIDA – Frank Kimmel, the New Albany, Indiana driver of the Advance Auto Parts Ford Taurus sponsored by Pork. The Other White Meat®, is set for this weekend's Advance Discount Auto Parts 200 at Daytona International Speedway in the ARCA RE/MAX Series Saturday, February 12.

Kimmel www.frankkimmel.com, the six-time ARCA RE/MAX Series driving champion, and the only driver in series history to win an unprecedented five consecutive titles has 56 series wins, but a win at Daytona has alluded him.



“We’ve never been able to win at Daytona,” explained Kimmel. “After finishing second in last year's race we are hoping that this will be our year. The Advance Auto Parts team has worked hard preparing for this season and the car tested well.”



ARCA RE/MAX Series practice is scheduled for Thursday February 10, and qualifying is set for Friday February 11, with the green flag for the Discount Auto Parts 200 Saturday February 12 at 4:10 p.m.
