Lucas Oil Products announced recently that they will once again be strong supporters of Canadian Motor sports by sponsoring the Brighton Speedway Points Fund.

This repeat contribution is just one of many generous ventures in sponsoring grass roots racing and will be greatly appreciated by the Brighton Speedway and their drivers. Brighton Speedway has experienced tremendous growth in all of its classes and special events and this sponsorship along with the funds that are raised through out the season, will rebuild the appreciated points fund purse that pleased drivers with the largest purse ever at the end of the 2005 season.

"Points funds are used to increase the champions’ winnings of each class at the end of the season, creating a more dynamic and exciting purpose to racing. It encourages drivers to show up every week and race not only for the single race checker but to battle for every point they can get en route to the ultimate goal of a championship."
