Nissan is determined to be the four-wheel-drive daddy and its
Terranaut concept will fire off another 4x4 salvo to the opposition at the motor show later this month.

Making its world debut at Geneva, the Terranaut has been designed as a mobile laboratory for scientists (cue the bubbling test tubes and wild hair).
As a laboratory, the cabin only has space for three people and there are just three side doors - one on the passenger side, two on the driver's.
The single rear seat swivels to meet the computer workstation and sits under a glass dome to give a great view of the stars.
Monster 19in wheels are shod with chunky puncture-proof tyres that can have their air pressures adjusted on the move to aid off-road ability.
The Terranaut may be weird science at the moment, but Nissan insiders say it gives a clear indication of the way the next-generation Patrol will look.
