

The high-performance two-seater, which its makers say is "designed to give customers an affordable and reliable season on the track without incurring the extraordinary costs of running a real Formula 1 car," starts at £180,000 (about U.S. $354,000). The company says it will begin delivering the car to customers in May.
The T1, powered by a Caparo V8, sprints from zero to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds. The company pegs the car's curb weight at approximately 1,100 pounds.
