Departure of Jo-Ann McArthur, President Molson Sports & Entertainment

September 1, 2005 - Molson Canada today announced that Jo-Ann McArthur, President Molson Sports & Entertainment, has decided to leave Molson at the end of September 2005 to pursue other career goals.

Since joining Molson in August 2000, Jo-Ann has led a number of departments, including Marketing Assets, Media Internet/CRM, Market Research as well as Molson National Merchandising. During this period of time Jo-Ann has been a key leader renegotiating major sponsorship contracts with amongst others; NHL, NBA, and CFL. She also led the Molson Canadian Rocks Toronto 2003 concert (the largest ticketed concert in North America) and won the US broadcast contract to produce the Champ Car World Series for NBC, CBS & the Speed Channel.

Jo-Ann McArthur will be staying in her position until the end of September to help with transitioning the business. She will also lead a steering group responsible for developing a recommendation to transition the current Molson Sports & Entertainment Organization to the creation of a Communication Services team. This newly created group will encompass various departments and improve alignment with the Commercial structure.
