September 1, 2005 – It is with much regret that Alex and Richard Penfold announced today that they will not be completing this year's Honda Michelin Challenge Series.The Pfaff team has decided to move in another direction in the future, to which their plans did not include the Penfold brothers.
Alex and Richard regret not finishing the Championship but wish to thank all of their sponsors for the support they have given to them this year. They have both enjoyed the time spent racing in the Honda Michelin Challenge Series and wish all the other teams and drivers the best of luck for the rest of the season.
Alex and Richard are finalizing plans for a full racing program next season and will be announcing their plans in the near future.
