Toyota Tacoma V8 Incross Concept at SEMA 2008

SEMA 2008 debuts a new concept for Toyota which brings the Tacoma range its first use of the 4.7-litre, i-Force V8 powerplant. And in doing so, Toyota present a roomier Tacoma with a further range of exclusivities. Among the Tacoma V8 Incross Concept's most prominent new features is its custom new Green Matte paint job but the custom jobs extend beyond such superficiality.

Toyota Tacoma V8 Incross ConceptThe car's body frame combines the Tacoma's Access Cab with the Double Cab version's smaller truck bed, making for a unique look but more importantly a roomier cabin. The Incross Concept's unique form is accentuated by a revised front grille, modified flared arches by Bushwhacker and 17-inch American Racing Wheels alloys.

Supporting the new 4.7-litre i-Force V8 addition, an engine that produces 271 hp and 321 lb/ft of torque, the Incross Concept gets custom Bilstein shock absorbers, Toyota Racing Development headers and a custom Tube Solutions dual exhaust.

The cab also gets its upgrades, most strikingly a new Bronze interior trim colour but also steering wheel, floors and mats styled on the FJ Cruiser by Fast Ed's Interiors, JBL Premium Audio System with Toyota Navigation and Genuine Toyota sports pedals.
