Developed at the
Roush Technical Centre in Essex, the
600RE shows that Britain still knows how best to make a
GT40 and that Essex boys just can't help themselves when it comes to tinkering with
Fords.
Low, lithe and not a little scary, the
600RE has an uprated supercharger, tuned exhaust and must-have black-painted alloy wheels.
There's also tinted glass to keep the outside world guessing about who's inside and a plaque to let you know which of the limited run of 10 cars you're sitting in.
But you know what they say: you can take the supercar out of Essex, but not Essex out of the supercar...
