Where's Our Astra TwinTop?

Saturn is getting a version of the Opel/Vauxhall Astra compact later this year. But one Astra model that won't be making the transatlantic crossing is the Astra TwinTop, a two-door retractable hardtop that's sold only in Europe.

Moreover, a few lucky British customers this summer will be able to buy an even more limited Vauxhall variant: the TwinTop Exclusiv Black.

Priced from $36,990, the Astra TwinTop Exclusiv Black is based on the range-topping Design trim level, adding black leather, heated seats, cruise control and custom 18-inch alloy wheels. Standard features that are carried over include an electronic stability program, piano-black trim, rain-sensitive wipers and automatic headlamps — and, of course, the retractable hardtop, which includes automatic rollover bars.

The limited model comes in either pearlescent Black Sapphire or Power Red and can be ordered with a choice of gasoline or diesel engines.
