Dream Drive: 2,000-HP Tour Offers Five Exotics for $989

FORT WORTH, Texas — DFW Elite Auto has come up with a menu of dream-drive programs for enthusiasts that includes a 2,000-horsepower program that lets you get behind the wheel of five exotic cars in one day on drive routes through Texas.

The cars include the Ferrari F430, a Porsche twin turbo, an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Corvette Z06.

"You'll have the opportunity to experience well over $1 million in autos in a single day," DFW says on its Web site. Each participant gets to drive each vehicle for about 30 minutes.

Another package, the "redline tour," bundles a Porsche 911, a Viper SRT-10, a Corvette Z06, a Mercedes-Benz SLK55 AMG and a Mercedes-Benz SL500 for $689.

Of course, a key question is, "Will I be allowed to really get on it?" DFW's site says. "The tour director may have a designated stop where participants can experience the full power of the vehicle with proper instruction and minimum risk to all parties."
