ROAD RACING: Netscape joins Travis Walker for FAQ / CASC-OR

By Russ Bond Agency
MISSISSAUGA, ON – Kensai Racing’s Travis Walker announced today that he has signed Netscape as the lead sponsor for his Kensai Racing Acura RSX Type-S for 2005, which will now be called the Netscape/Kensai Racing Acura RSX- Type S.

“This is the start of a great relationship,” Walker said of the news. “Netscape is known worldwide as a leader in the Internet universe. I couldn’t be happier about this announcement and I look forward to working hard to make sure Netscape retains its leadership on the track as they do off the track.”

With a rich history in innovation, Netscape brands in Canada provide Internet services and tools designed to meet the specific needs of Internet users. Since introducing one of the first ever Web browsers, Netscape has evolved to include a long list of services designed to optimize Internet surfing and connectivity. The Netscape accelerated Internet service is the first and only national full-fledged service designed to meet the demand for an affordable alternative to current high speed services in Canada.

“The Netscape name is synonymous with innovation and speed two qualities that will be consistent with Travis Walker’s 2005 season,” says Steven Koles, General Manager, Netscape and Enhanced Services, AOL Canada Inc. “We’re looking forward to a successful season for both of us.”

Walker is anxious to debut his Netscape/Kensai Racing Acura RSX Type S in the FAQ (Federation Auto Quebec) Touring Hankook Championship, the Ontario GT Challenge and the Grand Am Cup championship. “This really is the final piece of the puzzle for us. With Netscape joining our effort, I now believe we have the best team, the best car and now the best sponsor. It will be a winning combination.”
