Goldplus, the jewelry division of Titan Industries, has lately unveiled its plans to embellish the Tata Nano, the world’s cheapest car, with gold designs. To celebrate 5,000 years of Indian jewellery, we plan to come out with the world’s first jewellery car — Goldplus Nano — sometime next year. This priceless car will be a single unit as a symbol of our precision capabilities and will serve as a memento and not for sale.
A design competition was organized and finally, three designs for the Goldplus Nano were selected by an internal team from Titan Industries. The three designs have been named as Goldplus Nano 1, Goldplus Nano 2 and Goldplus Nano 3, and the one receiving the most number of public votes will be replicated in real.
