As loyal readers of TopGear.com are no doubt aware, we’ve been busy in the baking California sun these last few months putting the final touches to a new US show.Well, it’s finished – and the fruits of our labours will be screened this Sunday at 10/9c on the History Channel in the US.
Episode one – Cobra Attack – sees hosts Rutledge Wood and Tanner Foust pit the soon-to-be-replaced Dodge Viper SRT against a Cobra attack helicopter through the streets of Georgia, and third host Adam Ferrara joins them for a three-way Lamborghini test that looks awfully pretty, judging from the pictures below.
Best of all, Buzz Aldrin goes round the Top Gear test track. BUZZ ALDRIN. That’s pretty cool, you have to admit.
The show is US-only for now, but we’ll have plenty of videos and extras for the rest of you as usual on TopGear.com, and we’ll be bringing you an exclusive chat with the presenters later this week. In the meantime, here’s the kind of thing you can look forward to (and yes, there is a Stig):
