And you thought the
Morgan Aero 8 was an eyesore.
Here's a whole new level of ugly from Malvern's finest... but at least it's eco-friendly ugliness.
This is the
LifeCar, a green concept due to be launched at the Geneva motor show next year.
It's the product of a £1.9 million collaboration between
Morgan, Oxford University and defence experts QinetiQ.
Morgan says the
LifeCar goes beyond the traditional method of fuel cell adaptation in current hybrid cars, and instead is built completely around the architecture of the fuel cell.
This, apparently, gives the LifeCar a 200-mile range as well as sports car performance.
All of which, says Morgan, will demonstrate that a zero emissions vehicle can be fun to drive.
Not so fun to look at, though.
