
The Enzo was followed on the list by the $613,000, V10-powered Porsche Carrera GT, which made its debut in Paris four years ago. Ferrari took 3rd place with its 2006 599 GTB, which is priced at $305,000. The third Ferrari, a $340,000 612 Scaglietti, finished 7th in the voting. To be considered for the poll, vehicles had to cost at least $97,000.The $344,000 Aston Martin Vanquish grabbed the number-four spot, followed by the $617,000 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. The priciest car on the list is the $1,635,000 Bugatti Veyron, in the number-six spot. Rounding out the list were the $340,500 Lamborghini Murciélago, the $225,000 Bentley Continental GT and the $740,000 Pagani Zonda.
The index is the brainchild of Zurich Private Clients by Motoring Research. Zurich Private Clients provides insurance for buyers of luxury goods, including high-end vehicles.
