STUTTGART, Germany — You'll have to squint to see the external differences between the old
Mercedes-Benz G-Class and the face-lifted version that was unveiled on Thursday. The only discernible change on the outside is redesigned LED-look taillights. The new version rolls out in Europe in mid-April.

The cabin of the
G-Class gets upgraded with a new instrument cluster, four-spoke steering wheel and center console.
Mercedes-Benz said its classic workhorse continues to be refined with such new standard items as heated front seats and a 12-volt power socket.
New options include a reverse-sensing camera, a tire-pressure monitoring system, a sports exhaust system for the long-wheelbase
G500 station wagon model and new "cognac" leather upholstery.
Engines and body styles remain the same. The models range from the 224-horsepower
G320 CDI to the 500-hp
G55 AMG.
