Slotting between the Chevrolet HHR and TrailBlazer, the Equinox comes with front-wheel drive -- all-wheel drive is optional on all models -- and standard V6 power.

The Sport models gives a healthy dose of performance to the crossover and upgrades the Equinox's engine to a 3.6L VVT V6, outputting 264 horsepower. That extra power is put to the ground via a six-speed automatic transmission. The Sport model also rides on a lowered suspension and wears unique 18 inch wheels.
No matter what the trim level, the Equinox comes with an impressive list of standard features, including OnStar, StabiliTrak electronic stability control system and a tire pressure monitoring system.
