Subaru is celebrating the
Impreza WRX STI's 20th birthday with the launch of a special edition model that will be available only in Japan, with production limited to only 300 vehicles. The
Impreza WRX STI 20th Anniversary gets a sportier suspension setup with new coilover dampers, while exterior upgrades include the addition of a flat black front lip spoiler and rear wing, as well as special decals and 18-inch alloy wheels as standard.
The commemorative edition’s interior is enhanced with a set of Recaro bucket seats decorated with cherry-red stitching, and an STI leather gearbox knob. Prices are set in Japan at 4,126,500 Yen, which comes to around
$42,000 US with the current exchange rates.
