Engineers of Italian racing car company Dallara spent more than 100 hours in the wind tunnel honing the final shape, KTM says.
The X-Bow will be powered by a five-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbocharged direct-injection gasoline engine. The engine has an output of 220 horsepower in basic form, but in the X-bow it will be tuned to reach 320 hp.
KTM will commission Dallara to build a test run of 100 roadsters before it commits itself to larger-scale production.
