Filming for Transformers 3 has hit the wrong side of the law. Literally. No disassemble!
The strict tutelage of director Michael Bay demands an adherence to the enshrined principle of Blowing Stuff Up.
However, filming for his latest flick, Transformers 3 (due July 2011), has taken this dictum a little too literally.
While filming a scene with everyone's favourite little Camaro - 'Bumblebee' - a police car responding to a call cut across the set and straight into the path of the accelerating Chevy. They merged.
The police officer in the SUV was taken to a nearby hospital but released without serious injury, while the Camaro was stretchered off.
Watch the video below. It's like, total Bay-hem! It's Bay-os! It's a Bay-lure!
Seriously though, we do enjoy explosions and fire and blowing stuff up, occasionally. But how can Michael Bay - director of those Bergman-esque masterpieces Bad Boys and Armageddon - possibly top the vehicular death of Transformers 2?
