There’s less than one month left until the Paris Motor Show will open its gates and more and more carmakers give us previews of what we’ll see at their stands. Honda unveiled the Honda Insight Concept, a 5-door hatchback built on a newly developed platform aimed directly at the Toyota Prius.
Just like the upcoming Lexus IS Coupe Cabrio, though called ‘concept’, the car will basically be the production-ready version, the only difference being some minor changes that will be made. Honda Insight will be built in Japan, at the Suzuki plant and will go on sale in the first half of 2009 in Europe, Japan and North America. Powered by Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid power plant, the Japanese company claims that it wills the most affordable hybrid vehicle to date.
