Gentlemen.... START.... YOUR.... BLUFFING!!!!


TSN is running a story from AP saying that F1 won't be returning to Indy in 2008. These announcements seem to start about this time every year, and involve a handful venues who are either threatening or being threatened by F1 for various reasons.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Formula One's U.S. Grand Prix won't return to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway next year.
The race will not be held in 2008 after eight years at the track, spokesman Ron Green said Thursday. He declined to give other details, but said speedway CEO Tony George would speak later in the day. George had set Thursday as the deadline for reaching an agreement to extend the contract with F1. Last month, Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone talked about taking the race elsewhere if he couldn't work out a long term deal with the Speedway.
