Formula BMW USA: A Busy Week for Petriello!

Montreal, Quebec, June 5, 2007- Sportimage.net- After stepping up to the second step of the podium after his first race in the Formula BMW series, Jeffrey Petriello from Terrebonne is determined to taste victory this week-end on the Gilles Villeneuve track.

The Formula BMW series will present its third and fourth races of the series during the Canadian Grand Prix. “It’s an incredible opportunity for any driver to expose themselves. However, it’s important that I concentrate for the qualifying session held on Friday and to perform the best I can during both races,” explains Petriello.

To Be Prepared!
“It is difficult for me to predict the outcome for this week-end since many drivers are very familiar with the track. I continue to work with the team’s footage of races from last year. Since the last race, we have practiced with virtual simulation. In addition, I have been visiting the track regularly for the past week to better understand the details. This is something that helped me tremendously for my first race and during my years in karting,” explains Petriello.

Fourth place in the Championship
After only two races out of 14, Petriello is in fourth place in the championship with 15 points from Daniel Morad of Ontario and one point from Alexander Rossi. “I feel comfortable with my present situation. I will work hard to accumulate points this week-end in order to get closer to first place in the championship. We’ll see the outcome once the checkered flag has dropped,” explains Petriello.

In Association with Cinema Guzzo
It has been less than one month that he signed with the energy drink 24 Power and it is now Cinema Guzzo’s turn to support Petriello. “I am extremely happy to associate myself with Cinema Guzzo,” explains Petriello with the presence of Mr. Vincent Guzzo. “It is my greatest pleasure to drive a car and represent Cinema Guzzo. They’ve given me confidence and I think I will make them proud,” concludes Petriello.

Jeffrey Petriello took part in the Formula BMW racing school, thanks to the Autoccasion, the energy drink 24 Power Canada (www.24power.ca) and Cinema Guzzo (cinémaguzzo.com.)
