KEMPTEN, Germany — Aggression is the theme of Abt Sportsline's
TT-R.

The German
Audi tuner tweaks the
TT model range, topping the lineup with a 355-horsepower
TT-R equipped with a VR6 3.2-liter engine that accelerates from zero to 62 mph in 5.1 seconds, versus 5.9 seconds for the standard model. Even the
TT with the base 2.0 TFSI engine gets a boost to 270 hp, with maximum torque of 258 pound-feet. The standard model produces 200 hp and 207 lb-ft.
Abt Sportsline also modifies the new 2.0-liter
TT with its intelligent Sport technology, which allows the car to be fueled with standard, super or "super plus" gas. The TT-R gets such exterior touches as a four-pipe rear muffler, rear skirt inset and rear wing.
