Infiniti M Diesel version

In 2010 at the Geneva Motor Show the Infiniti M was introduced with a diesel engine for the first time. It will be sold across Europe starting in September 2010. The diesel engine produces 240 hp, 331 lb-ft (175 kW) (500 Nm) @ 2,500 rpm and is called the V9X Engine. In western Europe, this V6 performance diesel will be offered as a high performance option in lieu of the M56 V8. The M30d will not be sold in the US or Canada.

Sedan Infiniti M will be issued in 2011

The third generation of popular sedan Infiniti M 2011 modelling years, which virtual presentation has taken place at annual exhibition Concours d’Elegance, will appear next year and becomes the first Infiniti M which will be on sale on all 32 markets Infiniti, including the Eastern Europe. The presentation of new sedan Infiniti M was virtual — by means of technologies of panoramic shooting on the screen have deduced volume image Infiniti M. It is the first-ever example of virtual presentation of the car (without its physical presence), executed with application of the mentioned high technologies. The official world premiere new Infiniti M will take place in the end of this year.

Infiniti M 2011 modelling years will received absolutely new body. Low lowered cowl and relief lines of front fenders are borrowed at concept Infiniti Essence. The interior is executed in full conformity with traditions Infiniti with use of innovative finishing materials, progressive system of the climate control and an excellent audiosystem. In new Infiniti M it was possible to combine the improved characteristics of the engine with the reduced fuel consumption.

Infiniti M will be accessible with engine V8 and V6, and also with rear and all wheel drive. Engine power V8 will exceed 400 h.p. For the West European market model M56 will be equipped with modern diesel engine V6. The wide choice of complete sets — Premium, Technology and Sport — will allow buyers to choose the car with optimum characteristics and equipment.

2008 Infiniti M sedans get new pricing, new features

We always like when automakers offer more bang for the buck. So when Infiniti announced its M sedans have been extensively revised for the new 2008 model year with new styling and features, we were all ears. Infiniti has also released pricing information so you'll know just how much cash you'll need to put up to get one in your garage.

The MSRP for the 2008 Infiniti M35 -- with the 275 horsepower VQ-series 3.5-liter V-6 -- will start at $43,050. The addition of all-wheel drive in the M35x will set you back $44,800. If you opt for the 325 horsepower 4.5-liter aluminum V-8 model, the M45, Infiniti will ask for $49,350 with the new ATTESA E-TS-equipped all-wheel drive M45x starting at $51,850. Oh, and tack on an extra $715 destination charge to all prices listed above. All M sedans are equipped with a five-speed automatic with a manual shift mode that allows rev-matched downshifts.

Among the exterior revisions to the 2008 M sedan lineup are redesigned front and rear fascias, grille, rear fenders and decklid, taillights, and new chrome accent trim. A choice of new 18- and 19-inch wheels is available as are six new exterior colors and greater differentiation for models equipped with the optional Sport Package (replacing the previous M Sport model). In addition to interior and exterior styling differences (including revised aluminum trim), the Sport Package adds Rear Active Steer (RAS) and 19-inch wheels
