They're all sold out, in case you're wondering, ‘hmmm, I fancy one of those'. And if you want to apportion blame - as, inevitably, society demands - G-Power has bought three of just 126 M3 GTS models.
The German tuner better known for building the world's fastest saloon car (M5 Hurricane RR) has got its hands on three examples of the finest BMW 3-Series money could have bought.

In a statement on its website, G-Power contends that while the M3 GTS is indeed the ultimate M3, the ‘ultimate output' is missing. And this is a hole it wishes to stuff full of supercharger. More specifically, the company's SK II CS ‘Sporty Drive' supercharger.
This, claims G-Power, will push the M3 GTS's power from a standard 450bhp to somewhere north of 600bhp.
"After this modification", says G, "the BMW M3 GTS can finally show the armada of Porsche 911 GT3 RSes who's the boss at various clubsport racing events.
"A little piece of advice for the ‘competitors' of the G-Power GTS: prepare yourself for a rough ride..."
Innuendo aside, them's be fighting words. As we found out when we drove it, the M3 GTS can already be used in the same sentence as aforementioned 911, but with G-Power readying its spanners, something unholy will result.

Agreeable mod, or destruction of a very rare commodity?
(In related news, you can now buy a BMW X1 in M Sport trim, which includes 17in alloys, chrome-plated door-sill finishers, a multi-function steering wheel and sports seats. Also, the Z4 will soon get the newly launched 245bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged four-pot petrol engine.)
