That place is some way behind the US and Japan, where Mazda has already been busy selling its new CX-7 SUV.
We'll have to wait until September to see the CX-7 in showrooms. When it does arrive, though, Mazda's SUV will have suspension tuned to cope with Europe's more demanding road surfaces.
This set-up work has included many laps of the Nürburgring, so the CX-7 should be able to go round corners well.
Power comes from a turbocharged 2.3-litre four-cylinder engine with 256bhp, borrowed from the Mazda 6 MPS, and coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox.
Mazda will announce prices and specs closer to the CX-7's September on-sale date.
