CENTRE to host final weekend of Atlantic Championships this Saturday and Sunday; Large Field of competitors registered from throiughout Atlantic CanadaThe CFS will host the final weekend of the Atlantic Canadian Strock Car Championships qw double-header weekend on Saturday and Sunday, October 29th and 30th with start times for both events at 1:00 p.m.
Saturday’s event will feature the Midland Pro Stock 100 substitues event in addition the rained-out Atlantic Championships for Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks and four-cylinder TigerCats and ThunderCats. The original Pro Stock 150 Championship race is being be rescheduled to the Spring of 2006 with an exact date announced in the early spring to scheduling conflicts with some of the registered drivers for the original event.
On Sunday, the CFS will host a 250 lap Endurance Race followed by a giant Demolition Derby. A large number of cars are registered from throughout Atlantic Canada.
