Design:

The TS07 has been designed by Gregory Gambara who worked with French car manufacturers during more than 15 years .He is currently consultant for automotive project.

Aluminium alloy chassis : efficient & lightweight

It is one of the original aspect of the TS07 .It is in aluminium alloy , It consists of thin sheets shaped and mechanically welded.

It gives an excellent compromise between weight and rigidity, at the same time ensuring an ability to absorb frontal and lateral impact.

It comprises in the forward part an impressive crash box for frontal impacts ,which integrates the coolant radiators.

Exclusivity:

Technical studio wishes to establish privileged relations with each cars and each owner. In order to keep the exclusive character of the TS-07, we’ll produce only twelve cars.

Special-Edition Mazda RX-8 Nemesis Announced

LONDON — Mazda U.K. is serving up a special treat for British buyers: a limited edition of the RX-8, dubbed the Nemesis.

The Mazda RX-8 Nemesis comes in two unique paint schemes — copper red mica and stormy blue mica — and gets unique interior trim, including stone leather seats, branded luxury carpets and branded aluminum scuff plates for the doorsills.

Other appearance bits include a polished aluminum rotary crest on the front airdam, polished aluminum trim on the side air outlets and Nemesis badging.

Mazda U.K. says it will deliver only 350 copies of the Nemesis, which will be priced starting at $43,195.

Covini C6W: The joy of six

Rational thinking dictates that four wheels is the optimum for the motorcar.

However, think rationally and it seems obvious that if four wheels and tyres provide a certain amount of grip, then six should increase that by half again.

That's the sort of thinking behind the Covini C6W.

Covini says the car is a research project into active and passive safety, but then the company could have done that without fitting an Audi-sourced 4.3-litre V8 with 434bhp.

With four-wheel steering, the added braking performance of four wheels at the front and an all-up weight of just 1,200kg, the C6W is claimed to take care of 0-62mph in 4.7 seconds and has a top speed of 186mph.

Covini is still deciding whether or not to put the C6W into limited production. But we reckon the firm should say no to rational decisions such as this and just build the damn thing in all its six-wheeled glory.

Montreal Busch Series announcement later today

This afternoon, NASCAR will announce a Busch Series race in Montreal for Saturday, August 4, 2007 at le Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

This press conference was supposedly going to take place last Tuesday. But that was before there was chatter out of Montreal about putting an IRL race on-track on the Sunday of the Busch Race race weekend.

I think I heard the screaming all the way from Daytona Beach when they caught wind of the plan to position the NASCAR Busch Series as a support class for the IRL.

So.... given that Roger Edmondson (Grand Am) will be at today's press conference, I would imagine that the issue of Sunday's race card has been resolved to NASCAR's liking.

Ontario teen killed in 480-km/h crash

A teen drag racer died yesterday at the Toronto Motorsport Park track after she hit a wall in her jet-propelled dragster at more than 480 km/h.

Not only was 17-year-old Kendall Hebert's death witnessed by horrified spectators including members of her family, but the event was "carried live on the Internet," OPP spokesman Const. Mark Foster said.

"She was not competing, she was performing for the crowd," Foster said from the park in Cayuga, which is south of Hamilton.
