Designed by Turin's Istituto Europeo di Design, the students sat down with real-life McLaren boffins - whose brains are juicier than Jupiter - to hammer out what a mid-engined, four-wheel-drive hybrid SUV for two will look like.
33 designs were whittled down to 11, which then became three concept studies set for 1:14 scale production - the HOLON, the TOROK, and the BIO RENOVATIO.
